Praehist 3D<p>3D scan and 3D print for museum replicas</p><p>This richly decorated bracteate (decorative disk made of precious metal) was to be replicated for a museum exhibition. For this purpose, I made a 3D scan of the sheet metal and prepared it for a later highly detailed SLA printout. Praehist 3D<p>Aufgrund ihres eher schlechten Zustandes konnten keine Abgüsse direkt abgenommen werden. </p><p>Angepasst wurden einige Altreparaturen und die Bodenplatten, auf denen die Statuen standen. Deren Holzkerne hatten sich über die Jahre zunehmend verformt. Praehist 3D<p>3D-Scan einer Maske, wahrscheinlich aus Namibia. Die Datierung ist unklar, aber wahrscheinlich frühes 20. Jh.</p><p>Der Scan wurde mit einem Artec Eva-M durchgeführt.
