Intro Day: What does your MC think they are destined for in this life? "Voidfront" is a sci-fi/space opera pnp setting, but it does include a lot of story elements and short stories that shape the world. It's hard to tell who the "MC" actually are, but the rebellion pilot Kait pops up wherever something important (or ridiculous) happens, so she is a good character to focus on. --------------------------------------------------------- I don't think Kait consciously thinks she's destined for anything except just *existing* (she does like that). In her mind, life is as chaotic as its gets and nothing is certain. She would scoff at the idea of destiny (she would use it to make a joke though). Every decision is a "now"-decision to her. Considering her usual life choices that is a prudent approach, actually. She does see it as her mission to keep Liam and basically everyone else in the rebellion on their toes (but especially Liam). I glimpse it briefly when I purchase it & never again. I couldn’t tell you what the cover looks like on any books after purchase.There’s also another simple fact, at least as it applies to me. Covers are the most purely marketing element of a book.
