Why I Built My Own Audio Player Like many people, I’ve picked up too many subscriptions, some through Apple (iCloud, Apple Music), others got lost in random platforms (like Netflix, which I forgot I was still paying for). I actually used Apple Music regularly (and previously Spotify), but the streaming turned out to be more convenience than necessity. With a curated local library, I didn’t lose much, just the lock-in.
While I’m sure there are those who need these features more than I do, as a longtime user of Safari’s Reader Mode, I’m very glad to see this functionality coming to the Apple ecosystem. I’m sure it’ll be useful to a lot of people.

How is anyone supposed to be productive in this day of endless popular on every device. Apple ecosystem here… it’s horrible these days. Time to set aside a few hours and figure out how stop the madness. VS Code and PHPStorm are two of the worst. OS is getting horrible too.
