Hello, dear fedifolk!
Not sure what my entry for last month's #InkscapeChallenge is about …
What do you think?
Based on some old photos, took in my parent's village as I remember. This time I tried to draw clouds in new way, using other brushes in #Krita.
One night, before falling asleep, I tried to imagine some cartoon/anime scene, with pond in garden and some details created themselves. I saw some weird cute #creature in water, near surface, which looked similar to this... maybe "drawn" in slightly other style
Few days later I tried to recreate this vision.
I imagine this thing should have soft wet body, like a frog or axolotl. Not sure if this leaf is for sleeping on it at night (or sit on when creature is tired) or maybe a trap to lure insects and then hunt them. If it's leaf, it could do photosynthesis, but for animal it wouldn't be effective itself so it would probably have to eat something anyway.
My friends suggested as a Pokemon it should have two evolution paths, with this one as base form. In one it would be more specialised in photosynthesis, in other more specialised in bug hunting.
