5/5 - Finally on Friday we finished with a new entry for the #AtariST. Mechanic Warriors - a blended shooter + strategy, with multiple space vehicles and missions. Canned due to funding, it became UbiSoft’s simpler Intruder game:

Have you ever come up with (according to you) such a clever name for a project that you feel the need to actually go through with the idea just because of it?
There's no performant open source hard disk driver for the retro Atari ST platform. We have the absolutely awesome HD Driver from Uwe Seimet, sure, and I've paid for it - but it's not open source.
We have the source for the ancient AHDI, "Atari Hard Disk Interface", but it's not very performant and needs updating for more modern things.
So I would like to see a really fast open source implementation that can transfer data quickly between any number of storage things people dream up as soon as they come into existence.

If there's any doubt, I'm team Atari.
This pic is of my initial release model Atari 1040ST after I finished de-yellowing the plastic by doing a retr0bright treatment on it.
It still works fine. I used this thing almost daily for 8 years and had it shipped cross country several times to join me in college. It's a beast. Everything's original.
