Steam and Roblox.</p><p>Us parents like the couch + big screen part of gaming, so console (Sony only since Nintendo and Microsoft stopped making consoles) is the way it has been.</p><p>... but that might be about to change. For a while now it seems more of the games we would like to play are on Steam rather than PS Store.</p><p>Enter <a href="https://masto.sangberg.se/tags/Bazzite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Bazzite</span></a>. A Linux-based OS that makes any hardware able to act as a "Steam OS" device - and on an HTPC that <a href="https://masto.sangberg.se/tags/Steam" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Steam</span></a> OS device can act as the Steam Deck, offering a full console experience.</p><p>I just repurposed the <a href="https://masto.sangberg.se/tags/AtariVCS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AtariVCS</span></a> (no, not the 2600, the modern PC thing) into such a Steam device. </p><p>This ... might be the future. </p><p><a href="https://bazzite.gg/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">bazzite.gg/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>
