BLE Voice<p>How do you maintain Bluetooth range in a fully metal-enclosed BMS? One customer’s design initially had <1m range due to shielding. Fixes:</p><p>🔹 Structural tweaks: Added openings near plastic connectors (485/4G)<br>🔹 Antenna repositioning: Moved closer to non-metal sections<br>🔹 Component upgrade: Switched to ceramic antenna</p><p>Result? 10m+ range despite the metal shell! Lesson: RF performance hinges on mechanical + electrical co-design. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/IoT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>IoT</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BLE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BLE</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Embedded" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Embedded</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Hardware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Hardware</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BMS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BMS</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/kt6368a-bluetooth-chip-used-bms-battery-metal-shell-rf-junluan-tsui-2u5zc" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">linkedin.com/pulse/kt6368a-blu</span><span class="invisible">etooth-chip-used-bms-battery-metal-shell-rf-junluan-tsui-2u5zc</span></a></p>
