Yesterday, I made the mistake to take a short break from the bicycle trip and go home for the night. This morning, I was too lazy to get up, and now it is afternoon and I am still hanging in the sofa. As a substitute I am looking at my recent photos from Roslagen, Sweden. Thijs LucasWieder ein kleines Schmankerl entdeckt. Planet X aus South Yorkshire, England wurde 1988 in Shefield gegründet und ging 2020 in eine Treuhangesellschaft in Mitarbeiter*innenhand über. Die Motivation für die Firmengründung, so beschrieben es Planet X auf ihrer Webside, waren na die hohen Preise für Fahrradteile und der Wunsch das Radfahren für alle mit gutem Material und günstigen Preisen zugänglich zu machen. Sie lassen ihre Rahmen aus Titan, Kohlefaser, Stahl und Alu in Taiwan, China und Italien produzieren. kc poschAfter four days of bicycling in Roslagen northeast of Stockholm, we were longing for a short break at home. Thus, we jumped on a bus of Stockholm's Transport Authority and rode 100 km into town. This 2-hour journey cost less than 2.40 Euros (= 2.70 US$) for me as a 65+er. If you are younger, a ticket is slightly less than 4 Euros. What a bargain! I love societies which understand public transport. ploumCette surtechnologisation est quand même insupportable. Mon parondontiste me recommande une brosse à dent Oral-B io 3 ou 4. À partir de la 4, y a du bluetooth. Donc, la 3, parfait pour moi. Je vois en option un étui de voyage rechargeable. Chouette, parfait pour le <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/bikepacking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bikepacking</a>.Sauf que l’étui de voyage n’est compatible qu’à partir de la 7 (avec app, IA et tout). On peut donc pas avoir un étui de voyage sans app/IA/bluetooth. C’est d’un pénible…

Surprised the little frame bag I sewed was just the right size for tent poles and stakes. Panniers from 80’s aren't waterproof, but held tent/fly which don't need that? Sleeping system in wp case on rack. Front bag for food and clothes, top frame bag snacks. Thijs LucasJede Ausfahrt eine kleine Studienreise oder ein Feldversuch, mit dem man prüft, ob die eigene Reiseplanung funktioniert und wenn ja, wie viel davon. Auf unserer Rückreise aus Husum waren wir erst zehn Minuten vor Abfahrt am Gleis und damit viel zu spät am Zug. Der war bereits voll und der Schaffner war schon bereits aktiv, drei der 12 Fahrräder im Zug herauszubekommen. Nur 6 sollen zulässig sein. Falls ihr meinen Thread von der Hinfahrt gelesen habt (<a href="https://norden.social/@thijs_lucas/114590416457156159" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://norden.social/@thijs_lucas/114590416457156159</a>): Ja, es geht um Rettungswege, Sturzgefahr und freie Stellplätze für Rollstuhlfahrer*innen. Ich finde das Verhalten des Schaffners also gar nicht mal schlecht. Auch weil er euch bemühte ordentlich gepackte drei Räder prob Platz unterzubringen, statt nur derlei zwei. Das gelang ihm und so konnten immerhin neun mit. Nun kann man noch weitere seiner Möglichkeiten diskutieren, aber darum geht es mir hier nicht. So ein Problem ist technischer Natur und auf Systemebene viel besser lösbar. Da kann der Schaffner nur nicht viel machen. Also erstmal Pause und das Beste aus der Situation machen. Erstmal das Mittagessen auspacken und essen. Immer wichtig in ärgerlichen Momenten: auf den satten Magen achten. Danach bin ich das Gleis herauf gelaufen und hab mir die Fahrräder angeschaut. Durchaus ein paar schöne dabei und wie waren schon vor der Abfahrt des Zuges wieder auf 6 angewachsen. Statt zielstrebig alle abzufotografieren und nicht entscheidenzukönnen welche ich posten will, verquatschte ich mich direkt bei diesem wunderschönen Gravelbike von Rose. Der Fahrer hatte einen Platten und auch Ersatzschlauch dabei, aber ihn fehlte die Ventilverlängerung und so genoss er einfach das Wetter am Gleis. Aus Baden-Württemberg sei er, sagte er, da hatte ihn sein Singsang schon verraten. Ob er wohl aus Baden war? Ans Meer kommt er zur Kur, aber die Wege sind ihm zu eintönig. Demnächst will er mit dem Rad über die Alpen, dann auch mit Taschen bepackt. Gut, dass er seine Reiseplanung hier schon mal auf die Probe gestellt hatte. Eric BuijsI'm currently in Biarritz and this is where my little adventure stops (for now). 1600 km of cycling was beautiful. At Bordeaux I crossed from the Eurovelo 3 to the Eurovelo 1 and cycled the beautiful Velodyssee. Darwin à VéloA very easy ride this morning. After a long family weekend with no bike but beach, food and wine I just wanted to start the week slowly. 28k and 1h40mn on the saddle. Ich musste also zu Beginn meiner 2. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Etappe" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Etappe</a> morgens schon mal klettern. Ich hatte übrigens immer Gegenwind. kc poschWe crossed the sound from Öregrund to the island of Gräsö, Sweden. Now, car traffic is almost gone. We bicycle all the way to the northern end of the island. I can clearly feel how my attention gets completely redirected; I watch the birds; I notice the young leaves on the oak tree; and then I see the the two ladybugs apparently having fun on a leave; they ignore me and keep on with their lovemaking. The very point of climbing a mountain is that you have to climb the mountain to enjoy the view. Die dritte Flagge am Haus enthält ein NS-Symbol. Alle Grenzübergänge, die ich passiert habe, werden straff kontrolliert. Zum Bahnhof Forst fiel mir nur ein: Gestrandet in Forst. Gleichwohl hat sich mal wieder bestätigt: Fahrradfahren macht glücklich 🙂!

kc poschWe took a local train out of Stockholm, Sweden, and started a multi-day tour through Roslagen northeast of Stockholm. The weather is perfect, the two Bromptons are apparently happy with their task, and a second Ortlieb duffle bag in bright yellow has joined the party.
