Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Battery Point Lighthouse II</p><p>Battery Point Lighthouse sits on a small point at the southwest end of Crescent City in Del Norte County in Northern California. Between the small point and Crescent City is a small strip of land that depending on the height of the tide and time of day may or may not be passable. In my case, one foot was soaked from a misstep on the way back in.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/battery-point-lighthouse-ii-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/battery-po</span><span class="invisible">int-lighthouse-ii-bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/BattertyPointLighthouseII" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BattertyPointLighthouseII</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/CrescentCity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CrescentCity</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYearForArt</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Golden Gate Bridge Portrait</p><p>This image of the Golden Gate Bridge was captured on a foggy summer day.<br>When we started out across the bridge it was sunny and fairly warm. <br>At midspan the fog started rolling in. By the time we had reached the north tower the fog had engulfed most of the bridge. Looking south the fog is so thick that the bridge seemed to disappear into the fog.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/golden-gate-bridge-portrait-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/golden-gat</span><span class="invisible">e-bridge-portrait-bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/GoldenGateBridgePortrait" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GoldenGateBridgePortrait</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/GoldenGateBridge" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GoldenGateBridge</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYearForArt</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Golden Gate in the Fog II</p><p>On this day I took a walk down at the east end of Christy Fields. As we made our way towards the Golden Gate Bridge fog started creeping in, at times, completely hiding the bridge. Depending on the wind we could see it or not for a few minutes here and there. The sun lit the bridge up wonderfully above the fog.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/golden-gate-in-the-fog-ii-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/golden-gat</span><span class="invisible">e-in-the-fog-ii-bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/GoldenGateInTheFogII" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GoldenGateInTheFogII</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYearForArt</span></a>#GoldenGateBridge <a href="https://socel.net/tags/SanFrancisco" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SanFrancisco</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Fog" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fog</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Pier" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pier</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/SanFranciscoBay" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SanFranciscoBay</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Golden Gate Bridge and Ft Baker</p><p>After getting fogged in at the top of the Golden Gate Bridge we took the elevator back down to the deck and this small clearing appeared. <br>This image captures the beauty of the Marin County the waterfront below. Below is the San Francisco Bay and then a little deeper into the background is Horseshoe Bay. Then behind Horseshoe Bay is Ft. Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Golden Gate and The City</p><p>I captured this image of San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge on a cool winter day with a small storm clearing and blowing past the city.<br>This was captured from a location known as Hawk Hill in the Marin Headlands. Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Golden Gate Bridge and Ft Point </p><p>There's something about being around the Golden Gate Bridge. It's placement between hills on both sides of the San Francisco Bay leave scenic views from most any angles. The pacific Ocean on one side and the San Francisco Bay on the other is just full of natural beauty.<br>Framed by an old rusty chain to give the image a different perspective.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/golden-gate-bridge-and-ft-point-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/golden-gat</span><span class="invisible">e-bridge-and-ft-point-bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/GoldenGateBriidgeandFtPoint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GoldenGateBriidgeandFtPoint</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/GoldenGateBridge" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GoldenGateBridge</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AyearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AyearForArt</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Bridge to Obscurity</p><p>Captured on a mid-summer day in San Francisco.<br>The Golden Gate Bridge so often stands tall on a clear. During the summer when there is a conversion layer in the area and the fog comes in off of the coast and blots out the summer sky,<br>That is what happened here as we made our way across the bridge the fog came in and turned the scene into a dreamlike foggy funk.</p><p><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/bridge-to-obscurity-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/bridge-to-</span><span class="invisible">obscurity-bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/BridgeToObscurity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BridgeToObscurity</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/GoldenGateBridge" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GoldenGateBridge</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYearForArt</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Sunflowers At Sundown</p><p>The sunflowers grow fast here in California and they are ready to harvest mid summer.<br>I captured this image outside of the city of Davis. This field has become a magnet for sunflower gawkers. There is a frontage road along the freeway and for weeks on end cars are parked on the shoulder up and down the road. I hope you enjoy this little slice of the Central Valley.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/sunflowers-at-sundown-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/sunflowers</span><span class="invisible">-at-sundown-bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/SunflowersAtSundown" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SunflowersAtSundown</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Agriculture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Agriculture</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYeasrForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYeasrForArt</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Sonoma Valley Creek</p><p>I was hiking the Sonoma Valley State Park in late winter/early spring after some pretty good rains.<br>This creek dries up by mid summer. I was lucky to come up to this park when I did as this little jewel was running fairly strong. The green hills and the moss covered rocks on the banks set this up nicely and I really enjoyed just sitting on the banks listening to nature.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/sonoma-valley-creek-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/sonoma-val</span><span class="invisible">ley-creek-bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/SonomaValleyCreek" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SonomaValleyCreek</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Sonoma" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Sonoma</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYearForArt</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Joe's Barber Shop</p><p>Some barber shops seem to be the center of town. Joe's is actually much newer than many of the barber shops I see in small towns. But this is very fitting for the feel that I was trying to get.<br>The red, white, and blue barber pole on the outside, the red leather chairs on the inside, old bottles of elixirs and what not set up on the shelf. This is my kind of place.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/joes-barber-shop-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/joes-barbe</span><span class="invisible">r-shop-bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/JoesBarberShop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JoesBarberShop</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYearForArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Nostalgia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Nostalgia</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Vacaville" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Vacaville</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Mix Canyon Creek</p><p>This is a small waterfall half way up Mix Canyon off of Pleasant Valley Road in Solano County. By the time I noticed that the sun was setting I had to rush to get my gear together and set up on this dock in South Lake.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/last-light-lake-tahoe-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/last-light</span><span class="invisible">-lake-tahoe-bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/LakeTahoe" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LakeTahoe</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Sunset" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Sunset</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/LakeTahoeSunset" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LakeTahoeSunset</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Lake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Lake</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Mountains" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mountains</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/SIerraNevada" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SIerraNevada</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Beauty" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Beauty</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYearForArt</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Frosty</p><p>This image was captured right after a decent snow storm came through Yosemite Valley.<br>This beautiful snow covered tree stood out against the muted evergreens behind them. <br>The snow was unbroken and presents a beautiful white carpet leading back to the tree.<br>The oak, with it's broad branches seemed to have captured more snow than those around it.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/frosty-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/frosty-bil</span><span class="invisible">l-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/Frosty" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Frosty</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Yosemite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Yosemite</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Yosemite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Yosemite</span></a> Valley <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Snow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Snow</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Winter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Winter</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/OakTree" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OakTree</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Nature" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Nature</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYearForArt</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Solitaire</p><p>This was captured in February during the middle of winter.<br>Camped in Yosemite Valley a snow storm moved through the valley dumping about 8 inches of snow.<br>As I made my way through the village in the morning I saw this fabulous snow covered oak tree and decided it would make a good subject for a photo. It's not really solitaire but it did stand out from al the other trees around.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/solitaire-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/solitaire-</span><span class="invisible">bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/Solitaire" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Solitaire</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Oak" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Oak</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Yosemite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Yosemite</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Snow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Snow</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYearForArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a></p>
Bill Gallagher Photography<p>Three Brothers and Bridalveil<br>One of my favorite vistas in Yosemite Valley is the tunnel view. Especially on days like the day I captured this image. We had camped in the valley the previous night and it snowed most of the night.<br>This image shows the magic of winter in Yosemite Valley with Bridalveil Falls flowing in the trough of the valley of the Three Brothers.<br><a href="https://pixels.com/featured/three-brothers-and-bridalveil-bill-gallagher.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">pixels.com/featured/three-brot</span><span class="invisible">hers-and-bridalveil-bill-gallagher.html</span></a><br><a href="https://socel.net/tags/ThreeBrothersAndBridalveilFalls" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ThreeBrothersAndBridalveilFalls</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BillGallagherPhotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BillGallagherPhotography</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/Yosemite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Yosemite</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/ThreeBrothers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ThreeBrothers</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/BuyIntoArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BuyIntoArt</span></a> <a href="https://socel.net/tags/AYearForArt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AYearForArt</span></a></p>
