Coup de bol, une petite expo sur l’architecture École d’Amsterdam dans la province de Groningue ("Amsterdamse School & Zo") démarrait fin juin au Veenkoloniaal Museum de Veendam. Au programme, des panneaux explicatifs, des plans, des meubles et des objets, c’était sympa. Le reste du musée, consacré à l’histoire glorieuse de l’exploitation de la tourbe dans la région était (un peu contre toute attente, je l’avoue) une bonne surprise aussi, et en prime il y avait quelques jolies architectures à voir dans le coin : bilan de la journée de jeudi tout à fait satisfaisant, on valide Veendam. Juillet 2025.

I really need to learn #GTK app development. GUI dev stuff outside the browser always ends up frustrating me.

#Rust people, what are your thoughts on using #Relm4 vs. the regular gtk & libadwaita crates? How is support for #Blueprint? Last I used it, I dont think the blueprint LSP was built yet, so it was pretty tedious because I use #Helix and not #GNOME #Builder.

I'm at the centre for interpretation of vinho verde in Ponte de Lima, Portugal. I'm installing several hundred origami cranes as cyanotype images (#metamorphogram) in the shape of a river - the river Lima, which is about 100m away.
This is just the beginning, so very much a #WIPWednesday post!

Another version - Six Degrees of Separation - was installed as part of the LOOK Photobiennial 2019.

Refers to role of memory in building individual and cultural relationships.

Accompanied by a wall piece entitled 'Friends and Acquaintances'.

But at least it was a public-funded gallery, and we had a good, supportive long-term relationship afterward

How fast can you fold orizuru?

I am making an installation which will use about 500-700 orizuru. Each is made from cyanotype coated tissue paper or rice paper. After a while they turn into pictures. They are #metamorphogram images. They will be hung in this form.

This is not a good origami paper, so I'm going at 20-30 per hour!
