@jade Right now I suddenly miss Google Plus. That's where I witnessed the #ChineseOccupy movement. China cracked down on it hard just before Google pulled the plug.

At this point I've got some explaining to do about resharing non-English posts from Mastodon because I know my Contacts on Friendica are going to see them and Friendica doesn't have the Translate button that Mastodon does. And some of those good folk came to the Fediverse from Google Plus, on which was this phenomenon called Chinese Occupy.
When you see that I've reshared what looks like what's written in Chinese, it's because via the Translate button I've discovered that a post reflects what was, in GPlus, a rebel post and I'm boosting it. It's a worthwhile post for similarly-minded Chinese to read.
