In SE and also in DK used #circleK even if the prices were quite high - especially in DK.

The biggest surprise in prices I found in B and NL. Tesla supercharger was clearly the cheapest and therefore I used it - even if reluctantly. I suppose their chargers were the oldest and with the lowest kW power. Lucky for us we had a flexible schedule at that saved us quite a bit of money.

This has caused increasing frustration as the variety of cars has grown dramatically over the last decade.

Some say car companies should standardize...

This station has six dual CCS EV chargers, capable of charging 12 vehicles simultaneously. Three of which with option for Chademo. All CCS cables have flexible arms allowing you to reach your charging port anywhere on your vehicle! (Most European Teslas come with CCS. Older Teslas need a Chademo adaptor.) Max effect varies from 300 up to 400kw. All chargers support plug&play for compatible pre registered cars. Prices can be compared to diesel. But most of us only use fast chargers when ultra cheap home charging isn't practical. Like when on vacation. Visiting my mother out of town is also a completely valid excuse for testing out these new toys! (Ignore the fact that I could probably charge over night at her place...) The city of Tønsberg isn't big, but it still has several fast charging stations more or less like this one. Although, admittedly, most of them not as large. For those worried about fossil/IC cars blocking EV chargers; The sign says they will be fined and towed in no time! Besides, that sort of behaviour went extinct when the fossil drivers realized we could block their fuel pumps too... 😎

The sign roughly translates to: "Charging zone. Spots are only for charging cars. Max charging time is one hour. Violations will lead to fines/towing." What the sign doesn't say, is that if fossil cars block our chargers, then we will block their fuel pumps. We can charge at home anyway, so they have more to lose. 😁
