Olem<p>Decided to retrobright the keycaps on my Commodore 128. The case turned out all right after a thorough clean, but the keys were still way too yellow for my taste. Submerged them in a mixture of hair bleaching creme and stain remover for a few hours and got them a bit better looking. Had them out in the sun first, but that didn't do much. Heating the container with the keycaps and stuff in them in warm water was the trick that gave a visible change fairly quick. Now the house smells like a hair salon. <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Commodore" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Commodore</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Commodore128" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Commodore128</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/retrobrighting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retrobrighting</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/keycaps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>keycaps</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/haircreme" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>haircreme</span></a></p>
