And also to review all my previous posts to add the hashtag when it's relevant.</p><p>My *intention* is to use these hashtags to find the clips I want to use in compilation videos, when I finally figure out how to make compilation videos.</p><p>But every time I try to figure out how to make compilation videos, I get stuck because it's hard for me to figure it out. </p><p>(Apparently it's a lot easier in the apple ecosystem?? but I'm never going to use the apple ecosystem so I gotta figure it out with windows tools.)</p><p>(I'm using <a href="https://blorbo.social/tags/DaVinciResolve" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DaVinciResolve</span></a> (after having tried a few different tools) and have not yet managed to get far enough through any tutorial to have any finished product. Ugh my BRAIN why have you forsaken me.)</p><p>Anyway I need to get over myself and make some bad youtube shorts that are poorly edited. Even just a single chunk of footage. If I can crop something and add a text overlay and hit the publish button on my youtube channel, that will be sufficient.</p><p>Can I challenge myself to publish at least one thing a week? No matter how bad? </p><p>I will do that.</p>

stib<p>One of the best things about <a href="https://aus.social/tags/DaVinciResolve" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DaVinciResolve</span></a> is that users can write scripts that create GPU driven plugins, in a scripting language—without a huge SDK to learn like After Effects. Misinformation-Superhighwayman<p>Blackmagic Design just released a fantastic new camera, plus a bunch of other new products, and an update to DaVinci Resolve 20 (free update because it's a lifetime licence, not a subscription rip-off).</p><p>Customers started placing orders, and units would have started shipping immediately after the announcement at NAB 2025 just two days ago.</p><p>Now, Trump's terrible tariffs are biting. I prefer <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/FreeSoftware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FreeSoftware</span></a>, but i was not satisfied with the results i got with <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/darktable" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>darktable</span></a>. Somehow <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Lightroom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Lightroom</span></a> produced better results and is easier to use.</p><p>I now have to use Windows to use DxO <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/PhotoLab" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PhotoLab</span></a> and <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/DavinciResolve" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DavinciResolve</span></a>, so i rarely do.</p><p>I love the DxO noise reduction! I can shoot wildlife with high ISO.</p>
