Jyrden<p>Today, I'm trying to head to the office whilst wearing eyeliner. First application goes fine. <br>30mins before heading out, I glance in mirror: I'm sure I put on eyeliner correctly earlier. Oh well, reapply.<br>20mins before heading out, I better make sure it still looks good. It's smudged; wipe and reapply.<br>10mins before heading out, let me just check if- Nope. Reapply.<br><a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/makeup" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>makeup</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/morningroutine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>morningroutine</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/exasperation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>exasperation</span></a> <br>let's hope it holds 🤞</p>
Peter Christensen<p>No, <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/MSWord" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MSWord</span></a>, I do not want you to “helpfully” recheck the “Ordinals (1st) with superscript” setting every time you update. </p><p>I have spent my career battling this setting. It’s the 21st century, <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Microsoft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Microsoft</span></a>. Using superscript in abbreviations went out of style a long time ago!</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/xl8" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>xl8</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/FreelanceTranslator" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FreelanceTranslator</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/HelpfulSoftware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HelpfulSoftware</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Exasperation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Exasperation</span></a></p>

amen zwa, esq.<p>A practitioner of any field experiences two different kinds of <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/exasperation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>exasperation</span></a>: the empowering kind and the oppressive kind. The empowering kind compels the practitioner to raise his performance. The oppressive kind induces the practitioner to lower his expectations.</p><p>It is the responsibility of the individual practitioner to embrace the empowering exasperation to attain the desired results. And it is the responsibility of the manager to shield his team from the oppressive exasperations—this is why it is crucial for the manager to have adequate practice experience.</p><p>It would be interesting to see the "exasperation quotient" ratings of various human endeavours.</p>
My name is Gordo (not really)<p>I swear to lord baby jesus christ pip needs to be burned to the ground and rewritten from scratch with hindsight firmly encoded in its new dna what the actual fuuuuuuuudge package manager?
