Aaron<p>I actually had someone reach out to me today about starting a company around some of my previous work on &quot;explainable AI&quot; -- machine learning that results in human-interpretable results, as opposed to the inscrutable tables of numbers that make up neural networks. This is pretty exciting stuff to me, because I&#39;ve wanted to start a business along these lines for a long time. I also got to introduce someone to the concept of &quot;exit to community&quot;, so +1 for social activism, too. A co-op model, accountable to fee-paying members, made perfect sense. </p><p>But of course potential investors just didn't know how that would work. It isn't done. Meetup got bought by an investment fund.</p>
