sudonemRecently hired as a systems engineer to do Linux stuff and work on automations. Awesome. Cant install any tools on my laptop, must do all development in a Windows VDI. Okay. The Dev VDI has git cmd installed, but not vscode, or WSL, or current versions of Python or powershell. Not approved to install anything. Prod VDI has vscode, but not git or WSL or Python. Can’t install anything. Also… All VDI’s are non-persistent and get rebuilt every 7 days.
