Christof Schöch<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/@paulasimoes" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>paulasimoes</span></a></span> It looks quite cool! Very minimalist, and the context-dependent formatting menu is neat. Great initiative, I hope they open more broadly soon or there will be hosted options. </p><p>But (at least at the moment), I don't really see what Docs does better than, say, <a href="https://fedihum.org/tags/Cryptpad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Cryptpad</span></a>'s "rich text" or <a href="https://fedihum.org/tags/FidusWriter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FidusWriter</span></a>. </p><p>They did the (relatively) easy parts, as far as I can tell. The hard part is things like track changes and comments, or bibliographic references and Zotero integration.</p>

Dort gibt es am Ende einen nahtlosen Export nach HTML, <a href="https://fedihum.org/tags/TEI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TEI</span></a>-XML, .docx -- und eben auch .DHC-Format. Fidus Writer<p>Fidus Writer 3.11.11 is not a major release, but it brings one of the most requested features is finally here: the ability to export comments (and their responses) to DOCX and ODT files! 🎉</p><p>Comments are exported directly to ODT files, and also in most cases also to DOCX files. However, the DOCX format doesn't allow comments on text inside of footnotes. So those comments have been moved to the footnote reference. 👀</p><p><a href="https://openbiblio.social/tags/FidusWriter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FidusWriter</span></a> <a href="https://openbiblio.social/tags/Update" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Update</span></a> <a href="https://openbiblio.social/tags/ExportComments" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ExportComments</span></a> <a href="https://openbiblio.social/tags/ODT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ODT</span></a> <a href="https://openbiblio.social/tags/DOCX" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DOCX</span></a> <a href="https://openbiblio.social/tags/Footnotes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Footnotes</span></a></p>
