From Wikipedia "Remigration is a far-right European concept of ethnic cleansing via the mass deportation or promoted voluntary return of non-white immigrants and their descendants, usually including those born in Europe, to their place of racial ancestry, often with no regard for their citizenship or legal status."

The US administration is creating an Office of Remigration. Might require approval of Congress, but that's never stopped them before.

@GottaLaff

Sounds about right.

ICE has been given arrest quotas; I believe the border guards have as well. Refusing entry (with or without taking them into custody) counts towards that quota.

The 5-year thing isn't new; being turned away from the border for any reason has always been grounds on its own for a 5-year no-entry ban. I don't know if they're enforcing it more than previously.

“Oh NOW the admin is upset about baseless accusations that people are “terrorists”? Were the agents rounded up, arrested, detained, and sent to a foreign prison based on that accusation? How do you spell “snowflake authoritarians” in Nativist?”

ICE's HSI unit conducted a raid at a popular restaurant in San Diego's South Park neighborhood. About 3 dozen agents, some in full tactical gear, arrested restaurant workers while patrons there and around the area were enjoying dinner. The federal agents didn't expect a resounding rejection by the neighbors and patrons. The community spontaneously protested the ICE agents. ICE discharged three flash-bang grenades to disperse the crowd. The people instead pushed ICE agents out of their community forcing the vehicles to retreat, shouting anti-fascist slogans. This is the way it should be everywhere.

U.S. Gestapo at work in Massachusetts-
" 'Not one of them would take his [or her] mask off or show us ID,” Shafiroff said. “No rights were read, no reason why [was given]. They were rude, they were military-style and I felt like I was on an island where there were no rights.'
The incident lasted roughly 30 minutes, according to Shafiroff.
On the video Shafiroff can be heard grilling the ICE officers about their unwillingness to provide information or take off their masks."

“Today, San Diego witnessed a government-sanctioned🚨KIDNAPPING. ICE stormed Buona Forchetta in military gear ripping workers away, then unleashing tear gas and smoke on the terrified community.

Full on police state, fascism now used on American citizens. Stay aware.”

This one is DHS, not ICE. If they keep approaching people and grabbing them like this without first identifying themselves it's only a matter of time until someone with quick hands reacts to defend themselves and wounds or kills an agent which is only going to fuel unrest and greater police brutality.

InstagramGustavo Sagrero on Instagram: "People showing up for hearings at the Seattle Immigration Court this week are facing something new. Federal immigration agents wait in the courthouse hallways to arrest people if their deportation proceedings are dismissed by a judge. New guidelines in January authorized U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to make arrests at courthouses and to fast-track the removal of anyone in the country for less than two years. Three people had their cases dismissed Wednesday morning. They were then arrested by federal agents and escorted down six flights of stairs or taken down a freight elevator surrounded by plainclothes officers. The man in the video was one of them. But some people have been able to get by. A woman whose case took place hours before this one sat inside one of the courtrooms, wearing a white sweater with her black hair pulled into a tight bun. She listened through headphones to a translation of what the judge was telling her. To her left, an attorney from the U.S. Department of Justice moved to dismiss her case. Outside, her family was waiting. ICE officers nearby waited to arrest the woman if a judge approved her dismissal. The woman, speaking through a translator, asked for more time to get a lawyer. The judge denied the government’s motion to dismiss her case and had the court clerk print out a new application for asylum. The ruling gives the woman more time. Her case will be transferred to an immigration court in Virginia, close to her home in Richmond. “Thank you and have a blessed day,” the woman told the judge.
