Ok. Windows 11 has cooked itself after an update and I refuse to reinstall everything AGAIN.
What KDE distros do people recommend for someone new to Linux, has older hardware but likes to game (not online/competitively, most stuff older games) and wants things to be set up/included by default as much as possible.
Thought that Nobara would be perfect but it won’t boot off ventoy nor direct off a usb. (Safe boot disabled and multiple attempts)
Ryzen 7 3700x & GTX 1070.

Das #iso-Image von #ArchLinux, welches zu Fehlern führte, stammte aus dem Dezember. Also ein aktuelles geladen. Leider stieß ich nur auf dieselben Fehler, weshalb mein PC offenbar die Ursache ist. Schade. #Arch

Als Alternative hatte ich mir zwischenzeitlich #cachyOS besorgt. Das verlangt /boot als #fat32 zu formatieren? Bin ich bei #Windows gelandet? Damit kommt es nicht infrage. Mich hatte der #KDE-Mist im Live-Modus eh genervt. Dann eben keine Neuinstallation. Ich habe für derartige Quereleien keine Zeit mehr übrig.

Dem Standard folgen

Die Desktop-Umgebungen haben Standard-Anwendungen. Diese kann man gelegentlich prüfen, vergleichen und aktualisieren.

I love how #KDE is practically using a fork of a fork of their own discontinued browser engine in their current browser. They really went full circle with that one.
