@RareBird15 There may be many #DisabledAndChristian in your group who would love to serve world mission without leaving home. Volunteer roles with #MissionAssist are a great option, e.g. Bible Digitisation Project #keyboarding - for people with excellent attention to detail. I work from home typing local people languages into a structured text document for Bible Societies and other organisations to use as needed.
I just finished typing in a language from South America, and now moving on to a lovely complicated language from Native North America. Lots of symbols!

1/ Yesterday, the final component of my #portable #writing setup arrived …

an eBay 6th Gen iPad – as I wanted one that would run the latest #iPadOS 17.

I won the auction (thanks, #eSnipe) and lucked out – it’s in truly immaculate condition. $126.00.

I had to slog through a *lot* of listings to find it.

Paired with the #Keychron #K3Pro #Bluetooth keyboard and a $2.99 #Ikea stand, I’m good to go light anytime, anywhere.

Total cost? About $215 plus tax and shipping. Luxury #keyboarding.

I'm casually exploring alternatives to QWERTY keyboards on my smartphone.

Some keyboard apps seem to want payment before I get to try. Others want permission to use personal data unrelated to typing.

The #MessagEase keyboard with only 9 buttons is intriguing, but I'd want to try before I pay.

The #Microsoft keyboard app wants to collect Location #data. How would that improve the app's typing performance?
