Droppie [infosec] 🐨:archlinux: :kde: :firefox_nightly: :thunderbird: :vegan:<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@nixCraft" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>nixCraft</span></a></span> I've been fully <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Wayland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Wayland</span></a> for a couple of years in my :archlinux: :kde: :plasma: <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/ArchLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ArchLinux</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/KDEPlasma" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KDEPlasma</span></a> - whilst the native KDE app <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Spectacle" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Spectacle</span></a> works fine in Wayland, my fav screen capture & editing app, <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Ksnip" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Ksnip</span></a>, remains broken. It runs, but cannot actually capture anything, only throw errors. </p><blockquote><p>Unable to show image<br>No image provided but one was expected. </p></blockquote><p>That's for its limited capture options of <code>Window under cursor</code>, <code>Current screen</code>, & <code>Full screen (All Monitors)</code>. My fav mode, <code>Rectangular area</code>, which works so well in X11, is not even offered in Wayland.</p>
