The rest must be in orbit by July 2029 ⏳. Bob HannentOneWeb is available and working, but their pricing isn't consumer friendly. If they can stop thinking like a legacy satellite provider and figure out how to get a 5x reduction in monthly price they'd clean up right now. Heck, if they need money to fund a reduction in material costs, now's the time to ask the market. But IMHO the Eutelsat OneWeb market positioning right now is really holding them back and it needs the arse ripped out of it.<a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/Kuiper" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Kuiper</a> needs to get it's constellation launched in time to be compliant with their license, which will be hard, but if they're aggressive (hey, it's <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/Bezos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Bezos</a>) then maybe they'll deliver in the next two years. And if it really is $400 for a terminal and the base subscription is $60-120/pm then it could do some damage.
