Gersande La Flèche<p>âpihtawikosisân is back!!! With a fantastic project:</p><p>"I want to demonstrate that we don’t need a million dollar budget and a huge production team – and we certainly can’t wait for these things. I also strongly believe in creating a resource that is free to access. If you are an Indigenous person and Cree is one of your traditional languages, it is your birthright. The more opportunities that exist for you to reclaim that birthright, the better.”</p><p><a href="https://apihtawikosisan.com/2025/06/making-the-cree-language-accessible-tapwe-kinitaweyihtenaw-ka-nehiyaweyahk/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">apihtawikosisan.com/2025/06/ma</span><span class="invisible">king-the-cree-language-accessible-tapwe-kinitaweyihtenaw-ka-nehiyaweyahk/</span></a></p><p><a href="https://silvan.cloud/tags/Cree" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Cree</span></a> <a href="https://silvan.cloud/tags/IndigenousLanguage" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>IndigenousLanguage</span></a> <a href="https://silvan.cloud/tags/IndigenousLanguages" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>IndigenousLanguages</span></a> <a href="https://silvan.cloud/tags/Languages" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Languages</span></a> <a href="https://silvan.cloud/tags/languageRevitalization" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>languageRevitalization</span></a></p>

I learn something new every time I go, usually by just clicking on one of the random articles on the side. It's pretty clear that it's a small team behind it, and I wish they had more resources to be able to put more indigenous languages on the map (literally!).</p><p>If you have some time on your hands and a passion for language, I'd highly suggest checking out their Volunteer page: <a href="https://native-land.ca/how-to-contribute/volunteer" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">native-land.ca/how-to-contribu</span><span class="invisible">te/volunteer</span></a> It's a lovely way to contribute to/learn about global Indigenous sovereignty and lift up marginalized voices.
