Deployed a WebAssembly application (admittedly a toy app) written in <a href="https://functional.cafe/tags/Rust" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Rust</a> with the <a href="https://functional.cafe/tags/Leptos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Leptos</a> framework, to K8s in an 8Mb container without any size tuning. I believe the combination of WASM containers with k8s will have an interesting future. It is also rapidly developing and interesting to follow.

It's my favourite language now but -Rust has different semantics compared to other languages. It has alien data types and concepts like arc, pin, lifetimes etc. It can be overwhelming though the syntax looks familiar.Maybe reading the book first will make it easier?

Have it working together with <a href="https://pnw.zone/tags/tailwindcss" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#tailwindcss</a>Web development STILL doesn't make much sense to me. I dunno why. Maybe, maybe one day it'll click.

GusI've seriously tried getting into <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Leptos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Leptos</a> but man, it fights me. I like <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/rust" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#rust</a> but it seems overkill for frontend web applications.There's nothing so far that <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/solidjs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#solidjs</a> doesn't offer me so I'm sticking with that.
