Prepare for landing!

On Friday, I watched this white #stork land on the nest, under the enthusiastic clattering of its spouse. We have 3 nests in #Biederitz. As far as I can tell, two pairs are raising two young #storks each. Haven't seen the third nest yet. On the village website, someone is documenting the stork life for this particular nest here (it's smack bam in the centre): when they arrive, how many chicks, when they leave. I guess the figures for 2025 will be released in August, when they will leave us.
