BedastGPT<p>Reading the complaints about the PoE2 update just launched… it seems the consensus is “wahh I can't feel like a god anymore wiping everything on the screen in an instant’. </p><p>One of the major themes of the patch was to introduce actual challenge. dregg<p>I had one total crash in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/poe2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>poe2</span></a> with a weird error modal I couldn't click on with my mouse, and got logged out in the middle of a fight once. Other than that it was pretty smooth.</p>
dregg<p>I don't like the new <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/poe2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>poe2</span></a> huntress whirlwind or tornados, too slow and untargeted for me. The combo window is too short to be useful, so not even worth trying in most encounters.<br>I don't like the delayed spear explosion or ground shock abilities either, like grenades just too slow and indirect for me. They just don't seem strong or useful.</p>
dregg<p>I think I like the new <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/poe2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>poe2</span></a> huntress class, but I don't really figure out the parry combos, I'd probably be stronger if I did.<br>It was pretty slow at first, but once I got to Ogham Farm it felt quite nice. I slice in starting an aoe bleed, hop out with another aoe bleed, and throw an aoe lightning spear causing the pack to explode. Fun stuff.</p>

Made it all the way through Count Geonor at 1/4 health without dying then sadly was too slow to react to the last phase and died. Beat him on my second attempt, but I'm sad I didn't get a clean act 1 run like I wanted. Level 17.<br>I of course then died to that damn centaur and hyenas, but I always die there. I knew I needed to stop playing, but always give that first area a run.</p>

I generally play SSF by default for any game so want to do that again, but poe2 makes that painful enough that it's maybe not worth it for pre-releases. I paid my personal dues learning the game for 1.x, maybe I switch to standard until release then another SSF char in first real league?<br>Though, I'd just be buying sufficiently strong gear so I don't have to grind so much, but probably can't afford it anyway, so may not actually be better.<br>Conundrum.</p>

Sathya<p>Path of Exile 2's elemental systems interactions are so bloody awesome. Fill up area with gas, detonate them with fire.
