So, unlike this pic, I don't believe Lashunta feel the need to anthropomorphize the milktrees they worship. For one thing, carving such a shape into the tree bark and wood would be traumatic and likely induce it to stop producing milksap.

However, nothing would stop Lashunta from sybolicially depicting such a head in an artistic representation, such as this.

My group is thinking about switching from 5E to Pathfinder. I've never played, but from what I've seen and heard it is a rules-heavy/"crunchy" system, much more so than 5E, so everyone uses computer-based character sheets, a VTT etc.
I do not own a laptop or a tablet.
Is it reasonable to attempt your very first #Pathfinder2e adventure with only pen and paper? Or will we get bogged down with looking up rules all the time?

third game of the weekend done and i feel fine!
seems like i have more energy than expected when i don't let video games and youtube steal all of it xD

anyways, the party in this game also managed to surprise me with their decisions in the best possible way! (details in spoilers below)
and they used the tools they have very creatively and i could only reward that! that's the behaviour i wanna see more of! ^^

excited for more, obvs! xD

~Eazumae~ - Mother-Milktree - was the first milktree planted by Greenmother Herself, and furthermore is the mother of the Lashunta species, when the tree bore the first Damaya from a teatwort blossom, and the first Korasha from a knothole. Thus the Lashunta call their legendary prehistoric ancestors ~Utheaza~ - the Children of the Milktrees.

Although treesingers abound as the priestly stewards of the milktrees' welfare, in legend only the greatest become ~Ialimyeae~ - birdsingers, who ascend among the highest boughs and take flight with their allies, even reaching Burning-Mother's heavenly palace.

@stjepanlukac I was a bit sceptical in the beginning as there is lots of speculation about missing numbers, but the repeated history of dnd4 and 5.5 is a sound theory.
Good thing they were not able to implement all these monetization and monopolization strategies.
Personally, i like the 2024 rules, but agree that they could have been better.
My one remaining 5e campaign will not switch, and otherwise i am mainly playing pathfinder2e now.

I have something really special planned for my players in our next #PathFinder2e session. In order to learn the forbidden magic of the Old Gods, they must undertake a spiritual journey based around some of the cards of the Tarot's Major Arcana. Each of the chosen cards will contain a lesson they must learn in order to progress towards their goal. The first lesson - the Fool - is to learn that they know nothing, and must ask for help. Will they ask the Magician or the High Priestess? #TTRPG

first game of the weekend (the single player game): done!

it was really good and we once again got through half a chapter in one session ^^

we also used an accelerated form of combat to make it more cinematic and that worked out great!

i'm excited to see where this will go! (in general i mean. i already know how the adventure will end xD)

got 3 games to run ahead of me this weekend!
saturday morning, i'll run the #QuestForTheFrozenFlame single player campaign!
saturday evening, it's boat game time, where the party will get surprised by a teleporting island full of giants, that'll just appear around them ^^
and on sunday afternoon i'll run the #SeasonOfGhosts campaign!

super excited for all of these!
both pf campaigns are getting to the end of book 1, so that's exciting too ^^
