@poloniousmonk I am also a convert. First, I was a Libertarian. When I understood that is was a cover for #Selfishness. Then I was a Republican. When #TrentLott started the social decay and downward spiral of the #GOP, I left that and became a #FiscallyConservative #SociallyLiberal Liberal. Not sure what Warren's motives were. I don't believe money fixes all things--it's an easy way out for lazy people. That's why I went in the #PeaceCorps

Timely news today as I finished participating in a #PNW collaborative workshop with environmental health and emergency management colleagues from King County, Vancouver BC, and Multnomah to address impacts from climate change in our region. As a former #AmeriCorpsVISTA and #PeaceCorps volunteer myself, and as someone who has leveraged #FEMACorps and #ConservationCorps teams in my work, I laud this administration creating a #ClimateCorps program to address climate change npr.org/2023/09/20/1200483937/
