Ein normales BD Laufwerk spielt 4K BD gar nicht ab. Hmmmm... die PS5 hat also kein normales BD Laufwerk und wegen der PS5 nahm ich an, dass alle BD-Laufwerke Ultras abspielen können.

Oje, Japan hat einen anderen Regional-Code als Deutschland bei Blurays, ich kann also nicht mal die BD ausprobieren.

Tja, dann also Notwehr. Ich frag mal PerplexityAI :-)

Oh, immerhin, Ultras haben keinen Ländercode. Dann ist die Ultra gerade 99,.- teurer geworden, weil ich natürlich noch ein entsprechendes Laufwerk für den PC brauche. Jetzt hat der Preis der Box die 200 definitiv überschritten :-( Es fängt an weh zu tun. SOOOOOOO verrückt bin ich eigentlich nicht nach Perfect Blue. Verdammt. Verdammt. Verdammt.

Neulich musste ich unbedingt mal die DVD von Perfect Blue rauskramen. Uhhhhh.... waren DVDs schlecht.

Ich hab gerade das gleiche Gefühl gehabt, wie vor ein paar Jahren, als mal wieder eine LD eingelegt hatte.

Die LD verhielt sich zu VHS Tapes wie die Bluray zur DVD. Und da rede ich nur von der normalen Bluray. die Ultra HD Bluray legt da noch einmal eine Schippe drauf.

Jedenfalls habe ich die PB-DVD gleich wieder gestoppt und geschaut, ob es da nicht was besseres gibt.

Ja, gibt es, eine deutsche Perfect Blue Bluray ist erschienen. Aber seit wir vor ein paar Jahren einen Laserbeamer in unser Kino gestellt haben und uns ein paar 4K Videos angeschaut haben (u.a. Battle Angel Alita und Resident Evil), will ich eigentlich keine Blurays mehr kaufen.

Also hab ich weiter geschaut, ob es da nicht was besseres gibt.

Ja gibt es, aber nicht in Deutschland. In Japan kam eine Ultra raus, sogar als Collectors Edition. Leider nur japanisch pur. Aber ich hab ja die deutsche DVD, da sollte man die Untertitel rausziehen können (kann man) und die dann bei der japanischen reinfummeln. Also zu Amazon Japan gegangen, BD gesucht, yay, "dieses Produkt schicken wir Dir nicht", Mist.

Dann halt über Playasia.

Und 8 Tage später ist sie da. Hübsch. Ob ich es mit den Untertiteln hinbekomme, schreib ich später, wenn nicht, WERDET IHR ES HÖREN!

The new Japanese #4K #BluRay of #PerfectBlue looks like a huge upgrade over my UK Blu Ray, even without HDR.

Shame there's no subtitles of any form on the disc but I'm sure it will get an English language friendly international release soon enough.
