I must say that the plot twists are better developed here though.</p><p>One aspect that I find annoying is the over-romanticized ML hero always saving the FL from death. Isn't that what art is supposed to do?</p><p>In MMH, although revenge is involved, the story is much more about the FL coming to realizations.</p><p>In PM, the FL was almost instantly transformed. Whoosh<p>End of the Year Drama Challenge<br />Day 25: Favorite romance of 2023?</p><p>If I knew the ending, I might pick "My Demon" because the chemistry there is outstanding. But I'm not sure how it will end.</p><p>I know I'm in the minority with this, but of the 2023 dramas I watched, "Destined with You" was my favorite romance. The scenery & the characters are so different & although they focus on the arts, fortunately, the areas they depict are different. It's a perfect square with black food dye painted over the top. It would be impossible to burn a brownie like that without using a torch.</p><p>And - yes - that is the trivial little detail I noticed.</p>

It's based on a webtoon and filmed like a classic melodrama Kdrama. If you have an abusive family, maybe skip, because Yi Ju's family is straight from the brain of every abused child in the world.</p>
Whoosh<p>Why does Do Guk love Yi Joo?</p><p>We learn he loves her, but how? What is their past? At the end we see that he was enamored with her painting & started to learn about her. He had developed enough feelings to be angry with her family & even Yi Joo for how things were going even before the accident.
