The plug is behind, the cables plugged in are hidden, just the switch needs to be accessible.</p><p>I get 'why' these aren't seemingly made - extra wiring etc. but it just seems like such a useful feature at least for me.</p>

Farhad<p><strong>One of the best items I purchased many years ago was this 8 outlet power strip.</strong></p><br>It has a master socket with current sensing to control the rest of the sockets.<br><br>I used to use it with my desktop to turn off all the peripherals when the computer was off.<br><br>Adjusted the current level to detect the IKEA LED grow light with an analog timer to control all the other leds, water and airpumps in the kitchen corner I use as my kitchen garden.<br><br>It saved me 5 timers as well as small current used by each unit when they are in sleep mode.
