Can anyone give him ideas to help troubleshoot?</p><p>It's an aircraft avionics issue in a glider cockpit. Everything is powered by battery.</p><p>He's not on Fedi/Mastodon.</p><p>His description is below.</p><p>Thanks in advance!</p><p>====================<br>I have 2 electrical devices that are causing interference with any nearby radio. Initially, I thought it was just my radio but it's any radio. So, I am no longer looking for an issue with my radio or antenna.</p><p>However, I did find a spectrum analyzer that can also generate a frequency simulating EMI (I think)</p><p>For testing purposes, I supplied each device with a separate battery.</p><p>I tried using foil around the 12v USB and variometer. Again, with no change. I also tried foil around the radio. </p><p>Not the best Faraday cage. </p><p>Usually, I get some sort of change. But not in this case</p><p><a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/EMI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EMI</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/RadioInterference" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RadioInterference</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Troubleshooting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Troubleshooting</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/RFinterference" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RFinterference</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Avionics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Avionics</span></a></p>
