How can we guide our #digital work to increase #connectedness, #respect and #awareness to those who will not enter the digital realm?
It is one work to lower the threshold to enter.
It is another to say that we are not ready yet here and will do more damage than good, opposing the 'more digital is good digital' narrative. This narrative seams more like a loyalty pledge to a power hunger than a respectful negotiation.

Leggo sempre più spesso post relativi a politica, ambiente, economia e religione, scritti con tono polemico ed offensivo, in perfetto stile Twitter/X. Se volevo leggere sterili polemiche buttate così, un po' a caso, me ne stavo nei social centralizzati. Qui mi aspetto un ambiente più sano. Ma forse è solo un'utopia.

It just surprised me that a Live USB aimed at professionals wouldn’t include it by default.

Was it 100 clicks to switch off most LinkedIn notifications—in and out of each group and subgroup, plus the actual toggle?
This is disingenuous #design – pretending to be #transparent and #empowering. In fact, this design makes it a 5-minute #chore to set Linkedin to only tell me when a contact messages me, nothing else.
I can see the need to group the settings. That could be done with labels and a few horizontal lines, and all the toggles on one long page.
