Explained: U.S. government Signal "leak" a.k.a. "Signalgate"
TL;DR: There was no leak or cryptographic failure from Signal. Instead, the incident was due to human error where a government official mistakenly added a journalist to a Signal group chat.
Signal remains a secure and reliable platform for communication, and you should encourage your friends and family to use it.
Nothing shows how utterly over his head and weak Trump is than his reliance on nut job Laura Loomer for his national security decisions.

Ich halte Signal weiterhin für eine gute Alternative. Dass es auch von Sicherheitskreisen genutzt wird, spricht eher für dessen Sicherheit als dagegen. Außerdem handelt es sich um ein von einer Stiftung betriebenes OpenSource-Projekt, das nicht von Tech-Millardären abhängt.
Wenn Du das jetzt aufgrund von #SignalGate ablehnst, schüttest Du das Kind mit dem Bade aus, da ist nichts gewonnen.
Außerdem wäre noch #Threema zu empfehlen, aber das nutzen halt bisher nicht Viele.
