Zalasur 🇺🇦<p>Just to show how much oxygen AI has sucked out of the room in the last few years, I found a recent article about how to make a website using the Semantic Web (remember Web 3.0? No, not that one.).</p><p>It was both refreshing and a bit alien. Here it was; a technical article meant to educate and inform that wasn't LLM slop. Like, remember when that was normal and not just a curiosity from "the Before Times"?</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.surazal.net/tags/AI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AI</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.surazal.net/tags/LLM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LLM</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.surazal.net/tags/Slop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Slop</span></a></p>

Carsten 🚀✨<p>Sad, but I think the article exactly hits the point: in the future you have to know that there is a human on the other end - which is the oldest internet joke and I don’t see how that’s possible. No more reading random websites without investigating the history, no more posts in social networks without vetting the authors biography and cross referencing their work, no more forum posts in search of real experience when you try to solve a problem… I guess the internet as we know it is over. We had a good run.</p><p><a href="https://aphyr.com/posts/389-the-future-of-forums-is-lies-i-guess" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">aphyr.com/posts/389-the-future</span><span class="invisible">-of-forums-is-lies-i-guess</span></a></p><p><a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/ai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ai</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/slop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>slop</span></a></p>
