Note object that I know of. If a post does not include the magic "for everyone" target address, an implementation should assume it's private and mark it as such. #snac shows this kind of messages with a small lock emoji next to the poster's name in the same timeline as public messages.CC: @pernia@schizophreniabunker.vip @mint@ryona.agency @sysrq@lab.nyanide.com

Já que comentei sobre isso, #Fediverse (de "federated universe") é o apelido de um conjunto imenso de serviços da Web Social que se interconectam por um protocolo (ActivityPub) que é padrão internacional. Há uma boa explicação de como funciona em JoinTheFediverse.net.Então, quando eu compartilho algo, por exemplo, de snac.daltux.net: esse é um servidor meu, individual, rodando um sistema chamado #SNAC (acrônimo para Social Networks are Crap
) que se comunica com todos os demais nesse #Fediverso. Isso inclui outro servidor de um coletivo do qual também participo, ayom.media, que executa o sistema

, mas [dica] pelo menos é renderizada no fim pela Web do próprio #SNAC como um ligação para o #OpenStreetMap 
@grunfink@comam.es I have started a blog and I want to post on my snac instance each time I make a post to have the snac post as a place for people to comment. I can, and have, made such a link from my blog post to the posted snac comment, but snac doesn't have a reply link. I know on mastodon it will have one and then ask you to log in to your instance to post a reply. Any suggestions on how I can include one or do you or anybody have a work-around or other suggestions?

I don't know enough about how Akkoma works behind the scenes to contemplate a fix, whether it's passing the m3u8 instead of the mp4 or something else, but I'll have to see how this works when I switch to #snac.

Hey #snac users, can you check if this affects you in your other apps on Android/iOS ?
On my snac server when using my iOS client Mona the fileds for metadata are empty. I had to use the web app to edit them as I wasn't sure of the risks of losing it all.

Codeberg.orgEditing profile from app (mona/ios and others?) shows empty lines for metataIn my OS app when I go edit the my profile, all fills up for edition except the metadata lines (url/name pairs).
I sniffed the traffic and no request fails so it may be something with the format of the reply.

@grunfink@comam.es @Tubsta@soc.feditime.com @stefano@bsd.cafe @shmok@snac.bsd.cafe I can confirm that Mona works with #snac; it is what I use on both iOS and macOS. However, I cannot get Moshidon to allow me to login on Android; but Tusky works fine.

Sorry, I don't. I recall somebody told me that Mona works, but with some issues. Maybe others may tell about #iOS apps that work with #snac.

Hi, #snac author here. Apart from Tusky (already mentioned by Stefano), there are other Android apps that work acceptably with snac, like Fedilab, AndStatus, Pachli (previous versions used to hammer the server, but it seems that the latest version no longer does) and tooot (though, if I recall correctly, it's no longer maintained).

Probably has something to do with the fact that I attended Anime Expo ever so briefly on Friday and felt so overwhelmed that I basically spent about 4 hours there, despite having shelled out for a four day pass?
Still trying to get back to some sort of introvert equilibrium after being around such enormous crowds.

So I wrote a poll with a text and 4 choices and #snac combined with #Mona just ended up posting the question without the choices. Already happened the last time I tried so I supposed it wasn’t a random event…

I've just published version version 2.80 of #snac, the simple, minimalistic #ActivityPub instance server written in C. It only includes one bugfix; if you use the Mastodon API, you may be interested in upgrading:

Alright I've got myself a 1GB RAM VPS for $12 for the year (a 4x increase over the Pi 
). It's in London and everything for super low latency! I managed to get #alpinelinux installed through some hackery and migrate my blog and #snac instance to it.
One slightly weird thing I had is that inbound #ipv6 traffic on both SSH and HTTPS was returning a "connection reset by peer" for a while. It seems to be working now, but if some IPv6 folks can check https://cablespaghetti.dev loads properly over v6 for them now, it would put my mind at rest.
