Joyce Lionarons<p>Well, my plants arrived, half-dead in tiny little pots that were so root-bound I could barely squeeze the plants out of them. I figured if they were going to live I had to get the in the ground with lots of water right away, and not wait for the cool of tomorrow morning.</p><p>I doubt that all nine will survive. I'm thinking maybe four or five will.</p><p>I've ordered plants before, and they were fine. But these? James DeVol<p>Well...it's been pretty busy this morning with getting three rides in and getting more books from the library...got a piece of good news today when I met the young couple who bought the house next door and it's not being turned into another rental...they seem nice and we must have talked for 20 minutes...that is the house that has been empty since I bought mine 4 years ago...I won't have to mow that lawn anymore...yay! I tackled a number of small but necessary other things done instead. </p><p>Today I'm back to picking photos. The end is in sight as I'm up to 2018, heading to the present. Joyce Lionarons<p>Good morning!</p><p>It's haircut day again, so I'll be going out soon for that. And then home to write and wait for a delivery.</p><p>In February, I ordered nine plants from "Garden for Wildlife," which is part of the National Wildlife Foundation. They were supposed to be delivered as soon as it was warm enough to plant in my area -- i.e., about a month ago. </p><p>I did get an email of apology, explaining some of the problems they were having, a wrecked greenhouse because of a tornado being the worst. But it was disappointing.</p><p>Today the email came that my plants would arrive today.
