George Ellenburg (he/him/his)<p>Went to <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/unlock" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#unlock</a> my <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/LinuxMint" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#LinuxMint</a><span> 22.1 workstation this morning only to discover I couldn't.<br><br>As soon as I turned on my </span><a href="https://bofh.social/tags/monitor" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#monitor</a>, my <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/keyboard" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#keyboard</a> and <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/mouse" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#mouse</a> lit up (they're plugged-in to my monitor) but neither of them were recognized. Couldn't even press <code>[Caps Lock]</code><span> to toggle the LED on the keyboard.<br><br>Lights were on, but nobody was home.<br><br>Ended up having to </span><a href="https://bofh.social/tags/SSH" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SSH</a> into my workstation and kill my entire <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/Cinnamon" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Cinnamon</a> session just so I could <a href="https://bofh.social/tags/login" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#login</a><span>.<br><br>Extremely frustrating because it also meant I lost any of my unsaved work. Gah!</span></p>
