Christian HornNext holiday quest: I have an <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Amiga" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Amiga</a> 1000, but no keyboard. It expects firmware from a floppy - I used a serial connection to the Amiga 500 to write the floppy, now the A1000 boots, into Workbench, or into games.But there is no keyboard.. The connector turns out to be RJ10. Got one, and osci shows the expected signals. Wanted to have a Raspi pico communicate at the keyboard side, but the Pico just handles 3.3V, yet the Amiga does 5V. Seems like I need a level shifter to convert 3.3V/5V.

neongodI can confirm that it indeed works with the A590 and Kickstart 1.3. And it’s blazing fast! I haven’t added a CF card yet and it booted from the A590 just fine.
