Marc<p>I bought an <a href="https://stackpointer.ws/tags/ARMSID" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ARMSID</span></a> from retrocomp.cz and a Symphony II cartridge from Shareware Plus. After some minor confusion (screen stays black when the ARMSID on the cartridge touches the metal shield of the expansion port, "fixed" it with a piece of paper) everything worked fine. I actually expected to be the only loon to try this combination, but it seems to be a known problem and a fix will be available in future badges of the cartridge. <a href="https://stackpointer.ws/tags/c64" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>c64</span></a> <a href="https://stackpointer.ws/tags/mos6581" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mos6581</span></a> <a href="https://stackpointer.ws/tags/Commodore64" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Commodore64</span></a></p>

Some chips were out of socket, because it might have fallen down at some day. So cleaning ans pushing the chips back in helped, the VIC was OK.<br>But the SID had to be replaced. With some cooler spray it gave some noise for a few seconds... the new <a href="https://nerdculture.de/tags/ARMsid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ARMsid</span></a> works very well🤙</p>
