Tickling my brain with the more thorough perusing of a bunch of albums of new to me music. A lot of the time I'll get stuck wanting to listen to the same thing again and again, but sometimes it's just very good to freshen things up with something new... And today I've got a bunch of tabs open of electro swing, swing, jazz, lindy hop and ragtime.
There's at least one album I know I'll be buying, the others are under consideration!

May 2025 Edition of my #BandcampFriday roundup:

Des Demonas - I feel like a lot of you would dig this band. It’s a funky mix of punk, funk, blues, psych rock, Afro beat and… more? and it all works REALLY well together.

Moin: You Never End - one of you recommended this a while back and I know several of us grabbed it ok Friday 🤣. No ragerts!

Sailor Honeymoon - noisy Riot Grrrl punk straight outta Seoul. Favourite tracks: Fxxk Yourself and PMS Police. This whole album hits a big 90’s riot grrl nostalgia button for me .

Music For Abandoned Monasteries (various artists) - still not sure how to describe this one, but it’s been in my wishlist/cart for ages and I’ve done several streams of the whole thing, so in the checkout cart it went! A fun project album full of good dark ambient stuff: eighthtowerrecords.bandcamp.co

Goths for Palestine - based on the rec from @Moss 🖤 . This is a hella good compilation of gothy bands, a bunch of which were new to me so 🖤🖤🖤

I didn't post my Bandcamp Friday posts on here but I did on other social media platforms with very little engagement. I created a substack post because I feel it won't get as lost in the algo nonsense.
There are some great bands, tracks to check out.
Share it widely please!
