スラくジムンダール<p>Earlier this week I was regretting not pulling the trigger on a <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/bambulab" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bambulab</span></a> A1. Today, not so much.</p><p>I'm upgrading from an original model Ender 3. It was frankly a bit of a pain in the ass and I hadn't used it and almost a year. However, not long ago I installed a CR Touch auto bed levelling kit and oh man, is it ever better to use. I haven't levelled my bed in about 8 prints and every print has looked just great.</p><p>My natural inclination is the Ender 3 v3 KE. I don't see how it could not be a huge upgrade from what I'm used to.</p><p>Then I remember there are, in fact, other companies besides Creality and Bambu that make 3D printers. Is there another model you'd recommend?</p><p><a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/3dprinting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>3dprinting</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/enshittification" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>enshittification</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/bulletdodged" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bulletdodged</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/creality" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>creality</span></a> <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/ender3" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ender3</span></a></p>
Terence Eden<p>Almost got <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Catfished" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Catfished</span></a> today.<br>Had someone cold-contact me about doing some web-design for them. So far so normal.</p><p>Fairly sensible questions, albeit in slightly broken English. Basic work, but a decent budget as it needed to be done quickly.</p><p>Then, "I'd like to meet face to face to discuss" accompanied a photo of an attractive woman.</p><p>After a bit of reverse image searching, I discovered the photo was of a Korean model.</p><p>*sigh* don't meet up with strangers off that Internet.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BulletDodged" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BulletDodged</span></a></p>
Jenny Greenteeth<p>Nearly sat across from the only other person with a bike on the train today (at the table next to the bike storage area) until I noticed the Daily Mail laid out on the table in front of him. <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/BulletDodged" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BulletDodged</span></a></p>
Trevor Flowers<p>In a rare moment of common sense I've decided not to spend the time and energy to design and build my own spindle for the Chela mill. If I'm still interested when the mill is complete I can build a fourth axis or lathing spindle as an add-on. <a href="https://machines.social/tags/BulletDodged" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BulletDodged</span></a> <a href="https://machines.social/tags/machining" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>machining</span></a></p>
