As the daughter of Demeter, the goddess of agriculture, Persephone’s descent into the underworld signified the end of summer.Demeter, heartbroken by her daughter’s absence, would withdraw her blessings from the earth, causing crops to wither and leading to the onset of winter. Jude🇵🇸Public submissions into the 'amended' DA for Phillip Pool close today. Almost nothing changed after the initial DA. Due process is still being ignored (eg Auditor Generals report as yet unreleased), public consultation is a joke, and the whole thing smacks of a rushed job by a dodgy ACT govt who is sleeping with Geocon. An insult to our community. Anyway, for what it's worth, I've sent in my (second) submission.
