I had to set my work aside to take care of my date.Yesterday, I used my desktop to access Mastodon, Discord, etc. I continued looking for what had happened, but that was also futile.After an upgrade on Friday, my laptop was not rebooting normally. I eventually was able to get to the BIOS screen, but the computer clock was off. The Windows installation looked fine, but I never actually used it. The Linux partition looked zapped... I'm not sure what happened there. Did the BIOS try to perform a recovery maneuver and zap it?I recovered my data from a backup. The SDD hasn't given more problems.
