Poking Technology<p>Just added <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/JiffyDOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>JiffyDOS</span></a> support for my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/vic20" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>vic20</span></a> port of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/cpm65" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cpm65</span></a>. It dramatically improves disk performance. Currently it works on a 1541 (with JiffyDOS ROM) and a CMD FD-2000, probably; there's a good chance it works on an SD2IEC as well, but I haven't been able to test that.</p><p><a href="https://github.com/davidgiven/cpm65" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">github.com/davidgiven/cpm65</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>

Poking Technology<p>I've updated my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/cpm65" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cpm65</span></a> ports for the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/C64" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>C64</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/vic20" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>vic20</span></a>. They now have an integrated fastloader for much better disk performance, more RAM, better screen handling, better keyboard handling and are in general much more useful. You get:</p><p>- an assembler and disassembler<br>- two editors<br>- some demo programs and tools<br>- a port of Atari BASIC<br>- binary compatibility with the other 14 CP/M-65 platforms (getting the binaries onto the disk is your problem)<br>- bugs</p>
