While I fastidiously kept track of everything I ate at our our small NYE get together it wasn't until I could weigh some of the leftovers this morning before I entered it all into Cronometer to see what the damage was. I regret nothing BTW, I just like tracking this stuff. It's impressive :). Over an ~7.5 hour period of time I consumed just under 4100 calories. As you can see in the breakdown that was about 35% each fat and carbs, 14% protein, and 16% alcohol. Alcohol wise that was 2 servings of wine, 3 servings of champagne, 3 1/3 serving of beer, so just over one drink an hour but it was weighted more towards the end when we had to finish off the champagne. It was a tasty and fun way to ring in the new year. #nutrition #health #cronometer

So my PRO subscription to #Cronometer officially ended today. Gone are my lovely separated entries (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner etc.) and I'm back to the long unwieldy list of food. I didn't think I'd miss it, but I kind of do. We'll see what other pro features I'll miss before I break and buy a subscription again.

Hello! I'm #SugarFree for 28+ years. Eating #keto desserts only fuelled my cravings for sweet. The list of things I consider "sugar" is very long.

Going sugar-free makes real food taste fanastic!

I recently eliminated high glycemic foods because of creeping blood sugar values (you can become #InsulinResistant without eating sugar).

I was recommended the #cronometer app to track nutrient, fat, protein, & carb balance and found the "moderate" level of keto works for me.

Good luck!

The story so far....

It's been a helluva couple of years... Sat on the sofa playing #GTAOnline, watching reruns of #QI, and drinking and snacking into the night...

So, I'm trying to make a change. Cutting down on the IPA, one the red wine, on the peanut butter pretzel pillows, while getting out so I can #BikeTooter more, hitting my treadmill more, and my weight bench (that I never feel like I'm using properly)

Tracing activities with my #Garmin Forerunner 55

Tracking my food with the #Cronometer app

My motivation is for shit through. All this effort to one day be worm food anyway....

So, what have ya got, Tooters, to help an old guy get his arse movin'?
