Hey Gus<p>Anyone have good hashtags for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/wardriving" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>wardriving</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/datalogging" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>datalogging</span></a> ? I have been thinking about a project to really just start logging as many signals and fingerprints as possible. Ideally on a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BikeTooter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BikeTooter</span></a> friendly size. I’m mostly curious about whatever existing autonomous systems, or connected systems exist in rural areas.</p><p>I’m very much a novice at this. Any links or anything would be appreciated.</p><p>Here is a picture of a deer on my bike as an offering.</p>

Jim Lau<p>Okay, new account, new <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/welcome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>welcome</span></a> message! It was fun having my own instance, but rather than pay for and maintain that, I've just bounced over to mastodon.social to try out life here. I don't post much, but I'm here to read about <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/technology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>technology</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/retrocomputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retrocomputing</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/cars" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cars</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ElectricVehicles" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ElectricVehicles</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/spaceflght" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>spaceflght</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/WrexhamAFC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WrexhamAFC</span></a>, and more! I work in the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/automotivetesting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>automotivetesting</span></a> field for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Racelogic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Racelogic</span></a> with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/VBOX" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VBOX</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GNSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GNSS</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/CANbus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CANbus</span></a> and other <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/datalogging" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>datalogging</span></a> devices.</p>
Keith Bradnam 📈<p>One of my last <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/DataLogging" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DataLogging</span></a> work-related goals for the year was to get my email <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/inbox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>inbox</span></a> below 100 items. Let's see if I can keep it in the two-digit range for at least a month next year before things start accumulating again.</p><p>I actively file a lot of incoming emails so any left in the inbox items represent things where I feel I'm meant to be doing something.</p><p>Not <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/InboxZero" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>InboxZero</span></a>.</p>
Keith Bradnam 📈<p>Repost from previous instance…</p><p>This might seem weird but I keep a daily log of how many emails are in my inbox and how many items are in my ToDo app. Collectively they form my 'Barometer of stress'.</p><p>This doesn't help me directly reduce the number of emails or ToDo items, but it gives me a chance to step back and realise 'yep this is an abnormally busy time' and that helps me.</p><p>The big email spike in 2022 was from taking a two-week holiday.</p><p><a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/data" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>data</span></a> <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/datalogging" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>datalogging</span></a> <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/workstress" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>workstress</span></a> <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/work" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>work</span></a> <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/logging" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>logging</span></a></p>
