2. Only did half my cardiac workout this evening but I’m learning I need to slow down and do some strength-building exercises along with it. I’ll still be getting daily exercise, just a bit different. Different is okay.
3. I finished another Elm Creek Quilters novel today. It was a rather short one with more recipes than actual story. Hubs and I finished a suspense novel tonight.

Why am I like this? Within 48 hours of recieving the device I am looking to hack my Continuious Fluclose Monitor (CGM). I am not willing to use their app on my phone so I opted for their little MP3 player looking device. They are both bluetooth which means I should be able to Man in the middle attack it and display the info on another device, right? #gcm #Diabetic #dexcom

Drug plan provider changed me from Fiasp to a generic at the first of the year;
Spent several days waiting for the prescription to come in. After 2 days or so it arrived. Was told they do not stock that insulin. It was the only bolus on the providers formulary.

I renewed last Thursday. Today is Thursday of the following week. Called the Pharmacy yesterday evening. They are going to call me back today with what they find out. Was told they checked and none available in their system.

Checked this morning and still.

If I was not a diabetic prepper and hoarded supplies I would not be sitting here complaining about it right now. Guess I need to see what the insurance co is going to do and see about forcing them to provide a more available insulin.

Would prefer Fiasp as it is faster acting.

It has only taken me 2 weeks to get my BG/insulin pump on track. i finally got it all working in sync yesterday! 100% TIR, 119 average BG, and most importantly, only 36U of insulin. #Diabetic #T1D

we had an idea for a medical training *tomorrow* but we're having problems finding what we need.

We want to go over #EMS #medical #assessments and we were hoping to find a video of someone doing a patient interview that we could have people scribe as it played.

A video would enable us to stop and review key points, but so far all we've found is proctored stuff that wouldn't meet our needs.

In 3 days, I do my 3rd year #ramadan fasting (health, not religious reasons) as a Type 2 #diabetic

Naturally healed from pancreatitis in summer 2021 (emergency hospitalized for a week during the pandemic) as I was an asymptomatic anomaly!

Actually, I was in the ICU ward with really advanced cancer patients and elderly needing to be transferred to hospice. It was such an experience to be a young person there. The resident, nurses took good care of me, including the people who made/ brought me food from the hospital kitchens (who I all befriended).

They made such good food like shepherd's pie, mashed potatoes, but all I could eat during my stay was bone broth and jello! 2-3 IV drips fed me at all times so yeah.

YES I know that I am lucky to be alive and well now!

Got myself off insulin injections in less than a season (temporarily going low carb/vegan, losing 10 lbs. weight when I did need to), of course medically supervised by the endocrinologist, nurse mom, & the NP/doctor. I use fasting to be healthy
