Gary Parker<p>I upgraded the laptop to <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/ubuntu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ubuntu</span></a> 24.04 recently (which did not go well, and wound up being a fresh install instead). I used to be able to do this with pulseaudio and <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/dlna" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dlna</span></a>, but I can’t find an equivalent for the new <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/pipewire" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pipewire</span></a> <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/audio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>audio</span></a> subsystem</p><p>pavucontrol would let me route the audio from specific apps to different output devices. Again, can’t find anything like this for pipewire</p>
